UT Southwestern Medical Center welcomed a new addition to its decorated leadership team in December of 2023. Jonathan Efron, M.D., assumed the pivotal role of Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs and brought with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will undoubtedly further elevate the medical center’s mission of excellence in healthcare, education, and research.
Hailing from a distinguished background in medicine and healthcare administration, Dr. Jonathan Efron’s arrival marks an exciting chapter for UT Southwestern Medical Center and the North Texas community as a whole. With a commitment to advancing patient care and driving innovation in healthcare delivery, Dr. Efron is poised to make significant contributions to the institution’s continued growth and success.
To celebrate Dr. Efron’s appointment and to extend a warm welcome to him, Southwestern Medical Foundation hosted a special reception in his honor on April 2, 2024. The event, held on the campus of Old Parkland, provided an opportunity for colleagues, community leaders, and supporters to come together and greet Dr. Efron as he continues in this new role.
