On June 4, 2024, Southwestern Medical Foundation and UT Southwestern Medical Center hosted their annual luncheon for The Wildenthal Society. The event honored members of the planned giving society and the legacy they are building to support progress in medicine for years to come. Dr. Kern Wildenthal, UTSW’s President Emeritus and the society’s namesake, opened the luncheon with a warm welcome and introduced Dr. Randell McKenzie. As a member of The Wildenthal Society, Dr. McKenzie shared his medical journey and life-changing procedure that led him to commit his support to UT Southwestern.
Additionally, The Wildenthal Society members enjoyed an update on the clinical progress being made at UT Southwestern from Dr. Jonathan Efron, Executive Vice President for Health System Affairs.
