Bill Clements donates $10M for Biomedical Research & Advanced Imaging Building

In 2006, Bill Clements donated $10 million to complete the Bill and Rita Clements Advanced Medical Imaging Building.

I have great admiration for the medical school and the fabulous progress it has made during the past several years.

His involvement with the medical school began when he served on the search committee that convinced Charles C. Sprague, MD, to leave Tulane University’s medical school and become Dean of the medical school in Dallas in 1967. Dr. Sprague and Clements had been chemistry classmates at Southern Methodist University.
