Lasting Impact

Lasting impact is created when leaders connect with a bold vision and are inspired to work together to build a better future. Early trailblazers of our region believed North Texas could one day become a place where people would flock to live, work, build, and innovate. They knew thriving communities are healthy communities and dared to ask, “Why not a great medical center in the Southwestern United States?”

Working together, they laid the foundation for success and their investments turned vision into reality. Today, business in North Texas is flourishing and the population is growing more rapidly than any other metropolitan area in the nation. Within the next decade, we are projected to become the third largest metro in the United States. New reports say that we could surpass cities like New York and Los Angeles to become the most populous area in the nation by 2100.

Growing Needs of North Texas

For generations, families, individuals, and businesses have partnered with Southwestern Medical Foundation to support the growth of UT Southwestern Medical Center. We seek to inspire a higher standard in medicine for all citizens by building a sustainable funding source to drive groundbreaking research, provide best-in-class medical education, and deliver the highest quality health care in North Texas.

This year—thanks to decades of collaboration, support, and trust—we celebrate UT Southwestern joining U.S. News and World Report’s elite Honor Roll of the nation’s top 20 hospitals recognized for delivering the highest standard of care. For the first time, UT Southwestern is ranked as the No. 1 best hospital in Texas (tied) and, for the seventh year in a row, No. 1 in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Make an Impact in North Texas

We honor these tremendous accomplishments and the many generous hearts and brilliant minds who made them possible. Your investment in our worthy mission helps maintain the excellence of UT Southwestern. As you consider year-end giving, we hope you will join us in creating lasting momentum by making a gift toward medical education, care, or research.

Our goal remains to build and sustain a great medical center for North Texas, and community members like you make it all possible.

Sincerely,
