March 6, 2025, was a special night for scholarship students at UT Southwestern Medical Center. At an event co-hosted by Southwestern Medical Foundation and UT Southwestern, students got the opportunity to meet the very people who are investing in their dreams. Likewise, scholarship donors learned more about the impact the students are seeking to make through their training at one of UT Southwestern’s four schools: Medical School, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Peter O’Donnell Jr. School of Public Health, and School of Health Professions.
From its founding of Southwestern Medical College in 1943, the Foundation has championed the importance of attracting top talent and investing in students who will lead and innovate in health care. Today, that mission continues as donors and community leaders support scholarships and programs that empower the next generation of physicians, researchers, and health professionals.
We are grateful for the generosity of those who make these opportunities possible and for the bright minds dedicating their careers to improving lives through medicine, science, and public health.
