Planned giving through The Wildenthal Society is an opportunity to make the change you want to see in the world, and for many decades, these lasting gifts have made a tremendous impact on our community and inspired medical progress forward. Formerly known as The Heritage Society, The Wildenthal Society was recently renamed in honor of former UT Southwestern president and community leader, Dr. Kern Wildenthal.

The Wildenthal Society, of which Dr. Wildenthal and his wife, Marnie, were early members, was established in 1995 by Southwestern Medical Foundation to recognize those who make planned gifts to benefit UT Southwestern Medical Center.

It is with deep gratitude for the investments over the past 25 years, we celebrate the phenomenal commitment to our community that our Wildenthal Society members exhibit. It is with these gifts that we meet the challenges of today and will be prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Since its inception, more than $200 million in planned gifts have been received with one-third coming from The Wildenthal Society members. Thanks to the generosity of visionary friends, UT Southwestern proudly celebrates a distinguished record of breakthrough scientific discoveries, outstanding medical education and training, and excellence in patient care.
