Southwestern Medical Foundation Announces Dr. Priyanka Gaur as Winner of 2020 Ho Din Award

Originally established in 1943, the Ho Din Award is the highest honor bestowed on a UT Southwestern medical student. The 2020 Ho Din Award was presented to Priyanka Gaur, M.D., M.P.H. on May 2 by Richard E. Hoffman, M.D., M.P.H, a 1975 UT Southwestern graduate and member of the Foundation Board of Trustees. Southwestern Medical Foundation Announces Dr. Bethany Werner as Winner of 2019 Ho Din Award

The Ho Din Award was instituted by Southwestern Medical Foundation in 1943 and is the highest honor bestowed on a UT Southwestern medical student today. The 2019 Ho Din Award was presented to Dr. Werner on May 7 by Dr. Marvin Stone, former UTSW faculty and member of the Foundation Board of Trustees. Southwestern Medical Foundation presented The Sprague Award for 2017 to Hoblitzelle Foundation at a private dinner on Tuesday, February 7 at Old Parkland. The event also celebrated a recent $2 million gift from the Hoblitzelle Foundation, which provided funds to the Peter O’ Donnell Institute at UTSW for the purchase of the magnetoencephalography (MEG) machine that advances brain imaging to better diagnose and treat the brain.  PRESS RELEASE
