For more than two decades, Dr. Madhukar Trivedi and his colleagues at the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute of UT Southwestern Medical Center have been on a mission to lead high quality research and improve the treatment of depression and other mood disorders. With tremendous support from The Hersh Foundation and other generous hearts in our community, the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care (CDRC) has tasked itself with:
- Transforming the diagnosis and treatment of depression and bipolar disorder
- Revolutionizing our understanding of the biological causes of depression and bipolar disorder
- Accelerating scientific discovery
- Disseminating new findings to real practice
