Southwestern Medical Foundation is saddened to mark the April 11 passing of Margaret Crow at age 94.
Margaret was a remarkable friend to the Foundation, and along with her late husband, she was the namesake of the Margaret and Trammell Crow Distinguished Chair for Alzheimer’s and Geriatric Research at Southwestern Medical Foundation.
She was steadfast in supporting the Foundation and was always very interested in the latest research and the newest developments in academic medicine and medical education. Margaret was especially passionate about the history of Old Parkland, and she was inspired to see it restored so beautifully by her son, Harlan Crow. The Old Parkland campus is the current home of the Foundation as well as the original site of Southwestern Medical College, known today as UT Southwestern Medical School.
Margaret leaves a lasting legacy throughout the entire community and will be missed deeply by all of us at Southwestern Medical Foundation.
